Restoration of (wheeled) mobility in SCI rehabilitation Conference

	Rehabilitation Research &Development Service U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the Journal of Rehabilitation Research & Development (JRRD) are pleased to support the Institute for Fundamental and Clinical Human Movement Sciences (IFKB), Faculty of Human Movement Sciences, Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam and their conference on Restoration of (wheeled) mobility in SCI rehabilitation
	The 3-day international congress on research into the restoration of (wheeled) mobility during and after the rehabilitation of persons with a spinal cord injury (SCI) will be held in Amsterdam, April 19-21, 2004. We offer a highly active congress, comprising of a focussed, small and concise (one-stream) programme at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. We offer oral presentations, posters, an exhibition and an interesting social programme for all participants. The Auditorium of the Vrije Universiteit has a capacity of 280, ensuring a comprehensive programme with stimulating discussions on front edge developments in (wheeled) mobility restoration during and after the rehabilitation of SCI.

	The proceedings of the congress will be available in the form of a supplement to the Journal of Rehabilitation Research & Development (JRRD; April 2004) and as a special issue comprising ten of the highlights of the congress to be selected by the Scientific Committee. The JRRD is an international peer reviewed journal on rehabilitation research and development and is published by the VA (Veterans Affairs), Washington, USA.
