JRRD continually accepts manuscripts. Our goal is to publish cutting-edge research that enhances the quality and relevance of Department of Veterans Affairs rehabilitation research and disseminate biomedical and engineering advances. Priority areas are prosthetics, amputations, orthotics, and orthopedics; spinal cord injury and other neurological disorders (with particular interest in traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and restorative therapies); communication, sensory, and cognitive aids; geriatric rehabilitation; and functional outcomes research.
Manuscript Central is JRRD's online submission and peer-review clearinghouse. Manuscript Central is password-protected and Web-based to facilitate participation of both authors and reviewers. Please be sure to fully follow the Instructions to Contributors, including submission of the "Statement of Originality" and "Conflict of Interest" forms, when you upload your submission through Manuscript Central.
